专利说明:
The invention relates to a device for cleaning the external auditory canal, comprising a container for a cleaning liquid, which container at least partially made of elastic material, and having at least one opening for discharging the cleaning liquid into the ear canal. The cleaning of the ears corresponds to a natural need of humans and serves also the prevention of hearing disturbances and auditory canal inflammations. Targeted cleaning of the ear canal using conventional methods such as sprays or cotton swabs has proven ineffective in the past. An application of the subject device in animals is also conceivable. From US 6,949,088 B2 a device for flushing the external auditory canal by means of a liquid to be injected is known. The device comprises a tube at one end of which a nozzle is provided which has openings around its periphery for dispensing the liquid flowing through the tube. This end of the tube is inserted into the outer ear canal for use. A connected to the pipe limiting device prevents too deep imports of the tube into the ear canal. For administration of the liquid, a container which is connected to the other end of the tube, for example, a flexible plastic bottle compressed, wherein the liquid is supplied via the connecting tube to the tube. From US 5,833,675 A a device is known which comprises a pump bottle for dispensing water by means of actuation of a lever whose discharge opening is connected to a hose whose free end has an opening for discharging the water into the external auditory canal. A flexible tail performs during the cleaning process an oscillating movement whereby the cleaning effect can be improved. These two devices have the disadvantage that their end part having the discharge opening has to be inserted relatively far into the external auditory canal, whereby in principle there is a risk of injury. The cleaning of the external auditory canal takes place here only by means of a rinsing process. In addition, these devices are constructed relatively complex and therefore not sufficiently inexpensive to be produced for hygienic reasons to be replaced after short-term use. The object of the invention is to provide a cleaning device as indicated above, which avoids the disadvantages known from the prior art or at least reduced. The device should be favorable in procurement, effectively prevent injuries, and an efficient cleaning effect should be achievable. The object is achieved by an above-mentioned cleaning device, wherein the at least one discharge opening is arranged in an end piece connected to the container via a connecting element, which end piece is designed to bear against the entrance of the auditory canal. The cleaning liquid flowing under pressure on the container through the connecting member is discharged through discharge ports disposed in the end piece. The tail is in this case designed so that it rests against the entrance of the ear canal and thus no part of the cleaning device must be inserted into the ear canal. A risk of injury is hereby effectively prevented. The plant of the tail on the auditory canal entrance here is preferably substantially full-surface, so that under pressure exerted on the container in the outer auditory canal eingebrachbte cleaning liquid by relieving the container back into the connecting element or the container and the cleaning effect can be improved by the suction effect. The invention offers the advantage of a simple construction and can also be produced at low cost, so that it can even be used as a disposable device. In a particularly favorable embodiment, the end of the end piece facing the auditory canal has a convexly curved surface, for example in the form of a spherical segment or ellipsoidal segment. This shape of the front side is particularly advantageous for the system to the ear canal entrance, since it is substantially similar to its shape. Corners or edges that could be distracting during use of the cleaning device are not present. End faces with deviating from the above shapes embodiments are of course also within the scope of the invention, and hereby also cleaning devices with different geometry of the end pieces and their end faces. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the ear canal facing the end of the tail to prevent over or under pressure in the ear canal at least one notch or the like, which extends from the interior of the ear canal facing part of the end face in the direction of the connecting element. This ensures that when pressure is exerted on the container beyond what is necessary for the cleaning of the ear canal, no user-perceived as unpleasant or disturbing overpressure or oppression when the container is relieved. In one possible embodiment, notches may extend along the curved surface of the face, from the interior of the ear canal to a region that is no longer adjacent the entrance of the ear canal, thus allowing unimpeded water delivery. In a further embodiment, passage openings could be provided which extend from the curved surface of the end face through the end piece to a location which does not bear against the entrance of the auditory canal. The number of these pressure-relieving devices of the tail is not limited within the scope of the invention. Preferably, the end piece of the cleaning device is made of an elastic material, in particular of PVC, rubber or silicone. This preferably soft configuration of the end piece brought into contact with the auditory canal entrance prevents a pressure which is unpleasant for the user and thus increases the comfort in the use of the device. Furthermore, injuries due to unintentional, for example jerky, movements towards the ear can be effectively avoided. In an advantageous embodiment, the end piece has at least two discharge openings, which point into different rieh- tions. This embodiment is particularly advantageous because through the at least two discharge openings jets of the cleaning liquid escape in different directions and the cleaning liquid therefore does not occur only in the form of a single liquid jet on the inside of the ear canal, but several liquid jets occur distributed on the inner surface of the ear canal. Thus, the cleaning process can be performed even more efficiently. The alignment of the discharge openings in different directions takes place in a simple manner by the discharge openings are arranged distributed on the curved surface of the front page. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, in order to achieve a jet swirling of the cleaning liquid, the liquid channel ending in the dispensing opening is deviating in the end piece from a continuous cylindrical shape. In contrast to a substantially rectilinearly propagating jet of the cleaning liquid, a fluidized jet causes the cleaning liquid to occur on a larger surface of the external auditory canal, thus increasing the cleaning effect. The swirling of the jet can be achieved in a simple manner in that projections are provided in the per se cylindrical passage through the end piece, which connects the connecting element with the discharge openings. Likewise, a portion of one or more dispensing ports could be covered by protrusions, or any other means could be provided which would result in jet vortexing or beam spreading. Preferably, the connecting element is formed by a tube, which is preferably formed of rigid material. A rigid tube has the advantage that the tail is substantially rigidly connected to the container and thus the cleaning device can be operated only with one hand. The dimensions of the tube are chosen to prevent it from bending or breaking during use of the cleaning device while not unnecessarily exceeding this level for aesthetic and cost reasons. In an exemplary embodiment, the tube is made of plastic Fabric made. This allows a cost-effective production of the connecting element, which has low weight and can be cleaned temporarily in a simple manner if necessary. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the tube is made of transparent material. Since the cleaning operation is performed particularly efficiently by repeatedly applying pressure to the container, and accordingly, the cleaning liquid is reciprocated in the connection pipe, in the case of a tube of transparent material, the effect of the cleaning operation is visually observable. It is thus particularly easy to assess whether the cleaning process should be continued or if no dirt in the water is observable, can be canceled. Preferably, the container is made of PVC or rubber. This embodiment of the container allows a particularly cost-effective production and easy cleaning and also prevents damage to the container should it be dropped, for example. By means of the container of the described embodiment, the water pressure or the suction required for the cleaning can be produced in a particularly simple manner. It when the container, the connecting element and the end piece are pluggable connected to each other is particularly advantageous. As a result, the individual parts can be connected to each other in a particularly simple way without tools and separated again. However, the invention is not limited to a pluggable connection of these items, so that in principle these elements could also be fastened to each other by means of screw. According to a further embodiment of the invention, end pieces of different sizes can be connected to the connecting element. Thus, end pieces can be provided, which are for example specially shaped for children and due to the easy removability. can be replaced by the connector against adult suitable end pieces. Also for Animals may be provided appropriately tailed. Likewise, this embodiment makes it possible to produce end pieces which also have different sizes for adults, so that the user can choose at will from a set of end pieces of different sizes. Furthermore, the end pieces may have different shape or color for easier differentiation. The device described above serves to clean the external auditory canal by means of a cleaning liquid administered into the auditory canal and sucked back again by means of repeated compression and expansion of the container. The achievable with this device repeated pressure and suction allows a particularly efficient cleaning of the external ear canal of excessive Ohrwachs and prevents as a result of this hygienic measure hearing impairment and diseases of the ear canals. In particular, the removal of superficial microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungal spores, prevents inflammatory and subsequently eczematous ear canal diseases. As a cleaning liquid is preferably used water with drinking water quality. This way of cleaning the space between the ear canal entrance and the eardrum is completely safe for healthy ears and very easy to use. Due to the low production costs, the device can be disposed of after repeated use, or their eventual interim cleaning without disproportionate effort, for example, be carried out with pure water or with 3¾ hydrogen solution. The invention will be further elucidated below on the basis of preferred, non-limiting exemplary embodiments with reference to the drawings. Show it: Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of a cleaning device according to the invention; Fig. 2 is a side view of the device of Fig. 1; Fig. 3 is a front view of an end piece of the device; 7 • «« ··· Fig. 4 is a front view of an end piece in an embodiment with two discharge openings in a notch; Fig. 5 is a front view of an end piece in an embodiment with four discharge openings arranged outside the notch; Fig. 6 is a front view of an end piece in an embodiment with two discharge openings and two notches; Figure 7 is a side view of an end piece with arranged in the liquid channel projections. Fig. 8 is a front view of an end piece in an embodiment with a dispensing opening partially covered by protrusions; 9 is a front view of an end piece in an embodiment with a discharge opening partially covered by a web; and Fig. 10 is a schematic representation of a cleaning device according to the invention with an adapted to the size of the entrance of the ear canal of children tail. Fig. 1 shows a cleaning device 1 according to the invention, which has a container 2, a connecting element 3 and an end piece 4. The container 2 is suitable for receiving a cleaning liquid, for example water, and at least partially consists of elastic material. As shown in Fig. 1, the container 2 has an opening 5 for discharging the cleaning liquid, but may also have at least a second opening through which cleaning liquid can be supplied (not shown). The connecting element 3 is connected in a liquid-tight manner to the discharge opening 5 of the container 2, whereas the other end of the connecting element 3 is connected in a liquid-tight manner to the end piece 4. The connection between the container 2, the connecting element 3 and the end piece 4 takes place in a particularly simple manner by plugging together. Likewise, the device 1 can be easily taken apart, for example, to clean the individual parts. Although to a plug-in Connection alternative connections between the parts are not shown, the invention is not limited to these connectors. The end face of the end piece 4 applied to the entrance of the auditory canal can have substantially any shape, but is preferably, as also shown in FIG. 1, a convexly curved surface. A surface shape in the form of a spherical segment or ellipsoidal segment is particularly suitable, since these correspond approximately to the shape of the entrance of the ear canal. As can also be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the end piece has a notch 6 which extends along the surface of the end piece 4. The notch 6 may extend as shown only over the part of the curved surface or up to its rear edge. In a particularly simple embodiment, the notch 6 may extend to two opposite sides of the discharge opening 7 as shown in Fig. 3 and thus effectively prevents overpressure or depression in the external auditory canal caused by excessively strong pressure applied to the container 2, since under pressure standing water over the notch 6 can escape from the region of the ear canal. However, the number and arrangement of the discharge ports 7 and notches 6 is not limited to the simple embodiment shown in FIG. Thus, an end piece 4 as shown in Fig. 4, two arranged in a notch 6 discharge openings 7, which also allow due to their deviating from a central axis of the tailpiece 4 a jet delivery in different directions. Since it is their task, regardless of the number and position of the notches 6, to derive an overpressure or negative pressure in the interior of the auditory canal, there is no need to arrange the dispensing openings 7 within one or more notches 6. Thus, as shown in Fig. 5, for example, four discharge openings 7 may be arranged, which are located outside the notch 6. 6 also shows an alternative embodiment with two discharge openings 7 and two separate notches 6. Although notches 6 are described in the various embodiments as means for preventing overpressure or underpressure, the end piece 4 may also have other means for preventing overpressure or overpressure Have önterdrucks. For example, 4 through holes could extend from the surface of the tail to a free, not at the entrance of the ear canal adjacent area (not shown). The arrangement of a plurality of discharge openings 7 on the curved surface of the end face is particularly advantageous, since in this way the liquid jets are radiated in divergent directions and thus impinge directly on different areas of the external auditory canal. This results in a particularly efficient cleaning of the ear canal compared to a radiation of the cleaning fluid in only one direction. Another possibility for a particularly efficient use of the device 1 is to modify the liquid channel between the end piece 4 and the connecting element 3 or the discharge opening 7 such that a swirling jet emerges from the discharge opening 7. The jet turbulence can be achieved, for example, by the fact that projections 9 extend in the cylindrical liquid channel 8, which prevent a uniform and rectilinear exit of the water jet (see FIG. 7). Alternatively or additionally, as shown in Fig. 8, the discharge port 7 may be partially covered by projections 10, which also breaks the beam at these projections 10 and a turbulence arises. In an alternative embodiment shown in FIG. 9, a web 11 may extend across the discharge opening 7. It is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the embodiments illustrated herein, and thus any other means that result in jet turbulence are within the scope of this invention. The end piece 4 is preferably made of an elastic material, for example of PVC, rubber or silicone. Likewise, however, other soft materials can be used, 10 which offer the user as much comfort as possible when using the cleaning device 1. In particular, forms and materials are suitable for the end piece 4, which have no edges and prevent the risk of injury that could occur if the user inadvertently during the cleaning process on the cleaning device 1 a shock in the direction of the ear canal exerts. So that the user can operate the cleaning device 1 even with a single hand, the connecting element 3 is formed by a tube to the container 2 to the end piece 4 preferably rigidly connected. The inner diameter and the length of the tube are chosen to be advantageous for the application, for example, the inner diameter of the tube between 5 mm and 10 mm and the length between 20 mm and 80 mm. In order to produce the cleaning device 1 as inexpensively as possible, the tube is preferably made of plastic. In addition, thereby the weight of the device 1 can be kept low. Likewise, plastic offers the advantage of a simple and efficient way of cleaning required for hygienic reasons. In the application of the device 1, the user exerts pressure on the container 2, which is filled with a cleaning liquid, preferably drinking water, pressure, whereby the liquid through the discharge opening 7 of the end piece 4 in the external auditory canal, ie in the area between Ear canal entrance and eardrum is introduced while the tail 4 rests on the ear canal entrance. By relieving the flexible container 2 and the resulting negative pressure, the cleaning liquid is again sucked back through the discharge opening 7 in the connecting element 3 and the container 2. Repeated pressure loading and unloading of the container 2 thus produces a recurrent pressure and suction effect in the interior of the auditory canal, as a result of which excess ear wax is removed and absorbed into the fluid. It is particularly advantageous if the tube 3 is made of a transparent material, as this also allows the cleaning progress to be observed. The user can thus decide by observing the more or less contaminated cleaning liquid, whether he wants to continue the cleaning process or not. • * - * i r After completion of the cleaning process, the connecting element 3 and the container 2 can be emptied and be blown with the air-filled container 2, the remaining liquid from the ear canal. The liberation of the ear canal from water is on the one hand perceived as pleasant, and on the other hand, especially in anatomically narrow auditory canals of great importance, since invading water often remains very long in the ear canal and leads to significant disorders. The container 2 according to FIG. 1 or FIG. 2 thus consists of an elastic material, preferably made of PVC or rubber. The size of the container 2 should allow the most comfortable operation possible, for example, the diameter of an exemplary pear-shaped container 2 shown in Figs. 1 and 2 is in the range of 15 mm to 40 mm, preferably about 30 mm. The volume of the container 2 is for example between 5 ml and 15 ml, for example 10 ml. Due to the simple connection of container 2, connecting element 3 and end piece 4, for example by plugging together, the individual parts can be exchanged in a simple manner. Thus, it is possible to set up end pieces 4 with different shape or color on a connecting element 3. In particular, end pieces 4 can be used with different size application, so that can be placed on one and the same connection element 3 tails 4 for adults and children. Fig. 10 shows a cleaning device 1 with a tail 4 of smaller diameter, which is suitable for use in children. For example, the diameter of the adult tail 4 may be in the range of 15 mm to 25 mm, preferably 20 mm, while a child end 4 has a diameter of about 5 mm to 10 mm, preferably 8 mm. Further modifications and modifications are possible without departing from the scope of the invention. For example, the notches 6 in the end pieces 4 may have different shapes, in particular different cross-sectional shapes, widths or depths. Likewise, the connecting element 3 may have a deviating from a circular cross-sectional shape, beispielswei- * se a rectangle shape. Although the device 1 according to the invention has been described for use in cleaning the human ear canal, it can also be applied to animals.
